Good news..

After some wrangling.. I can now run & join a test server on my "vista" Big PC.. hehe..
Might have been the service pack though  Tongue.. lol

at least now i can "see" those silly server errors and address them as i see em pop up  Grin
I'll look into getting it "live" soon.. if not for a few "organized" hours of crashtest fun.. ping might be
a little whacked.. but i'll turn off the kickloss (if it aint already lol) & will be running Ion-X & Bio-X comparisions

More on this soon.. PM me any interest / availability on time ect... be nice to get a 3v3 or greater happening.. kinda what X is built for hehe..

In other matters.. I found a fix for some of those "non-supported" errors.. seems having a .cmp attached to things like scanners and tractors
(wich normally don't have a model) fixes that error.. will have to see how far that fix stretches.. but it makes sence..
Errors from LS's Checker are now down to just custom ship HP's .. and a few missing EQ surs that have been fixed now.. that don't mean she's
bug free though.. as we've seen..

Oh.. and i found an Atlanis.. It converted.. but wont open in HCMP.. seems its a wee bit to big for it.. but the new (lova deus) starsphere's and other working .cmps don't either.. so im crossing my wee fingers in hope she worked.. took ages to convert too as the textures were all messed and needed a wrangle.. having ran out of .mod files to convert (Battleclinic's main format for mdls).. i opened the 'ol .3ds box and came out with some goodies.. including a few BSG ships i forgot i had here (work for Kreeargh) Thinking seriously of getting a "real" version of milky.. if not just to kitbash freely and make some more modular stuff.. it also helps ALOT with retexturing.. hehe..
