so i kept this a secret from u guys for a while but i think now is the right time to tell u.
u guys remember the scholarship i got back in high school to the marine band program? i told u i didnt accept it but i did. sorry for lying. anyways i got a full ride marine band scholarship. at first i was happy and all but i decided i wanted to be in combat. so i dropped out of the band and i entered into the rotc program. i just got a letter today saying i would be going to the marine base at camp lejuene, north carolina in june (just after school gets out for the year), where ill be participating in swat-like raids and night patrols, and that should take about 2 months, and then ill be deployed to iraq on a 6-month tour. i dunno if they have computers in iraq but if any of the people in my unit have one, ill ask if i can borrow it so i can tell u how im doing lol. so i guess this is goodbye for 6 months.
