hi guys! so i'm in afghanistan now and i haven't been killed yet! lol. but anyways, i thought i wouldn't get a lot of action because, u know, this is my first tour, but i've actually been in battle more times than i can count! its really dangerous, but kinda fun. i manned the mg on a jeep yesterday, and that was pretty fun. at first i thought i was going to fall off because i was bouncing all over the place, but i kept my balance. i didn't have to do any shooting anyway, since we didn't encounter anybody on our patrol route. lame, but it was fun being up there. i wanna drive, but i wanna shoot the gun too...so many things to do! lol
i'm currently stationed in nahrin, a small village near baghlan, in afghanistan. luckily, i went out and bought a laptop before i left the states, so i'll b able to talk to u guys once in a while. hope all is well.
